The Bon Secours Sleep Disorders Centers consist of several private bedrooms and a sophisticated control area that monitors brain, heart, muscle and breathing activity while you sleep. The information helps physicians with expertise in sleep disorders in order to make accurate diagnoses of sleep-related health problems. While these tests often confirm patterns that the physician already suspects, they further help determine the intensity and disruptive effects of sleep disorder. Then the physician can prescribe an appropriate treatment program and help restore natural sleep pattern.
Patients referred to the center stay over night. You will be scheduled to arrive at 8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and plan to stay for 6-8 hours.
