Dr. Steven A. Castro, D.D.S.

Dr. Castro graduated from the University of San Francisco and completed his doctorate degree in 1996 at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Dr. Castro established this practice and has recently moved the office to a new state-of-the-art facility in Chester.

Dr. Castro is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Virginia Dental Association. He served eight years as a Captain in the United States Army. Dr. Castro contributes to the local communities as Vice President of the Chester Kiwanis Club.

Dr. Castro updates his dental education on a regular basis. He frequently attends continuing education to keep him current with new dental technology and techniques.

Married in 1991, Dr. Castro and his wife Jennifer have three children, two sons- Mark and Alex, and one daughter Nicole. His interests include golfing, and traveling.

Elba S. Castro, D.M.D.

Dr. Castro graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and completed her doctorate degree in 2008 at the Boston University School of Dentistry. Dr. Elba Castro joined our practice in the summer of 2008. She shares a great passion for dentistry and patient care.

Our Staff:

Stephanie Weaver, Practice Manager – Stephanie joined our team in 2003. She has an extensive knowledge of the dental field and is dedicated to the daily operations of the practice.

Patricia Vidals, Dental Assistant – Patricia joined our team in 2004. Patricia is bilingual in English and Spanish.

David Lewis, Dental Assistant – David joined our practice in January of 2005. He has several years of clinical experience including working at MCV's School of Dentistry.

Colleen Swick, Patient Coordinator – Colleen joined our practice the end of November 2004. She has been in the medical field since 1997 with years of experience in front office and in management. Her passion is for helping and encouraging others.

Jami Lamm, Dental Assistant – Jami has been in the dental field for over ten years. She joined our practice in 2006.

Renee Wyatt, New Patient Coordinator – Renee joined our practice in 2005. She has worked in the dental field since 1982. Renee strives to make the patient's first visit a truly pleasant experience.

Emily Jones, Dental Hygienist – Emily joined our practice in 2006. She is graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

Mireya Guadamuz, Dental Hygienist – Mireya joined our practice in 2001 as a dental assistant. She rejoined our practice in 2006 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at MCV.

Marie Stafford, Dental Assistant – Marie joined the practice in 2007. She has worked in the dental field for over 4 years and enjoys the patient interaction.

Jessica Orcutt, Dental Assistant – Jessica joined our office as a front office assistant in 2006. She became a dental assistant in 2007.

Sara Jane Dunn, Financial Manager – Sara Jane joined our office in 2006. She strives to make dentistry understandable and affordable for every budget while managing the dental insurance demands.

Pam Campbell, Front Office Assistant – Pam joined our team in early 2008. She has a desire to learn all aspects of the dental field.

Kayla Meeks, Dental Hygiene Assistant – Kayla joined the practice in 2007. She enjoys working with patients and working in the exciting field of dentistry.

Ruth Layton, Front Office Assistant – Ruth joined our team in 2008. She is currently is learning all aspects of the front dental office.
